The Air Jordan 1 Mid ‘Phoenix Suns’ dropped in 2013 as part of the Formidable Foes pack. The collection honors some of the teams that Jordan faced . and often defeated . at the height of his career. The ‘Phoenix Suns’ colorway serves as a nod to the team that Charles Barkley led against the Chicago Bulls in the 1993 NBA Finals. Despite being crowned that season’s MVP . Barkley couldn’t get the better of Jordan and company . eventually losing in Game 6. Even so . this edition of the AJ1 honors the effort with a premium leather design in Bright Citrus and Court Purple.
